Services
Architectural Design
Rogue Designs creates innovative architectural solutions tailored to clients' needs, blending modern functionality with historical context. Our expertise includes new builds, extensions, and renovations across residential and commercial sectors. We specialise in navigating complex planning requirements for listed buildings and conservation areas, ensuring designs respect heritage while meeting contemporary standards. Our process involves detailed feasibility studies, 3D modelling, and collaboration with structural engineers to deliver practical, aesthetically striking spaces that enhance property value and usability.
Interior Architecture
We transform interiors through thoughtful architecture that balances aesthetics and practicality. Services include bespoke kitchen and bathroom design, layout reconfiguration, and material selection to create cohesive, inviting spaces. Our team excels at restoring period features while integrating modern comforts, such as underfloor heating and smart storage solutions. Projects often involve close collaboration with artisans for custom elements like handcrafted lighting and cabinetry. Each design prioritises natural light optimisation, sustainable materials, and seamless flow between rooms, ensuring environments that reflect clients' lifestyles and the building's unique character.
Listed Building Renovations
Specialising in Grade II listed properties and conservation areas, we sensitively restore and adapt historic buildings for modern use. Our approach involves meticulous research into architectural history, sourcing period-appropriate materials, and working with heritage consultants to secure necessary approvals. Recent projects include glazed extensions that preserve original stonework and barn conversions incorporating sculptural stone features. We balance preservation with innovation, ensuring structural integrity while introducing energy-efficient upgrades like solar panels and sustainable timber cladding to meet contemporary living standards.
Sustainable Design
Our sustainable design philosophy focuses on reducing environmental impact through energy-efficient materials, passive design strategies, and renewable technologies. We incorporate reclaimed wood, low-carbon concrete, and natural insulation into projects while optimising thermal performance. Examples include solar-powered homes with battery storage, rainwater harvesting systems, and eco-friendly cork flooring. We advise on achieving planning consent for green builds and retrofitting existing structures with insulation, triple glazing, and heat recovery systems, ensuring minimal waste and maximum resource efficiency throughout the construction lifecycle.
Project Management
We provide end-to-end project management, coordinating multidisciplinary teams from initial concept to final handover. Services include budget planning, contractor selection, timeline coordination, and quality control during construction. Our team ensures compliance with building regulations, manages subcontractors like structural engineers and plumbers, and facilitates client communication through regular progress updates. This comprehensive oversight guarantees projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and design integrity.
