Celebrate in Style at Chalkwell Park Rooms
Potten Farm Shop, a family-run business established in 1999, is a haven for those who appreciate fresh, seasonal, and high-quality produce. Our shop, situated on the A20 between Ashford and Folkestone, is easily accessible and offers an array of fruits, vegetables, baked goods, meats, cheeses, and more. We take pride in sourcing our produce as locally as possible, ensuring that our customers receive the freshest goods available.
Our Range of Produce
Our produce range is extensive and includes fresh fruits and vegetables, daily bread and cakes from Davies' Family Bakery of Ashford, frozen locally reared meats, Korkers Sausages, English cheeses and cooked meats, fresh milk and cream from Hinxden Dairy, a large selection of jams and pickles, and Simply Ice Cream. In addition, we sell bagged cut seasoned logs, kindling, smokeless fuel, firelighters, and BBQ charcoal, making us a one-stop-shop for all your needs.
Our fruit and vegetable selection includes a wide variety of locally sourced produce, such as fresh Hispi cabbage, English rhubarb, peaches, and nectarines, Bramley, Gala, and Braeburn apples, tender stem broccoli, walnuts, layer figs, and jasmine dates. During the summer months, we carry locally grown strawberries from Robert Mansfield in Lyminge, and other seasonal fruits.
We carry a range of fresh bread and rolls delivered five days a week by Davies Family Bakery, as well as cookies made by Rachel from Singleton, Ashford, and Ruby's handmade cakes from a bakery in Sussex. Our meat selection includes Local Wild Rabbit, Pheasant, Diced Game, and Minced Venison, as well as a range of Korker Regular and Jumbo Sausages, Korker Sausage Rolls and Sausage Meat, and Korker Sausage Burgers, meatballs and gluten-free sausages. We also carry a range of Lower Hardres Rare Breed Sausages and meats.
Our selection of jams, marmalades, and chutneys made by The Wooden Spoon Company in Wye is a customer favourite. In addition, we carry a range of locally produced items such as honey, chutney, and pickles from Gatehouse Farm in Elham, Pluckley, Teas and Coffees, Harringtons Benenden Sauce, Quex Foods from Birchington, Opies from Sittingbourne, Perrins exotic foods and spices, and a range of Wessex Mill bread flours.
