Raison Opticians is an independent family-run practice in Helston, Cornwall, providing both NHS and private eye care in a relaxed and welcoming setting. Our comprehensive eye examinations make use of all the latest technology, whilst making sure we give each patient the time and care they deserve. We are passionate about eyewear and as an independent optician, we're able to hand-select our favourite pieces from the latest ranges. Our friendly team has extensive product knowledge and is trained to select the best fitting frames to complement your face shape, image, and lifestyle.

Our comprehensive eye examinations make use of the latest technology, including OCT scans, to ensure that your eyes are healthy and that any potential problems are detected early. We also offer private eye examinations, which provide a more in-depth look at your eye health and are tailored to your individual needs.
We understand the importance of finding the right frames to suit your face shape, image, and lifestyle. That's why we stock a wide range of frames from top brands, including Eyeplan, to ensure that you find the perfect pair. Our team is trained to help you select the best fitting frames and lenses to suit your needs.
In addition to our eye examinations and frames, we also offer contact lenses, including Orthokeratology, which can help correct your vision while you sleep. We also have methods available to help reduce the progression of Myopic progression.
Our Team
Our team at Raison Opticians is dedicated to providing you with the best possible eye care experience. Our optometrists, Brad Raison and James Kerr, have extensive experience in optics and are committed to providing you with the highest level of care. Our dispensing team, including Libby Raison, Michelle Stubley, and Dawn Parkes, are trained to help you select the best fitting frames and lenses to suit your needs. Our reception team, including Jess Clark, Georgia Collins, and Franky Hoseason, ensure that the day-to-day reception duties are run efficiently.
