Ashdale Guest House is a friendly and comfortable Bed and Breakfast, ideally situated for exploring the Peak District and its many attractions or just for relaxing in this wonderful part of the world. Our guest house is a Grade two listed early Victorian building, built in the Georgian style, and is one of a row of four properties that were originally known as 'Fountain Villas'. We are located directly at the heart of Matlock Bath, opposite the Jubilee Bridge that goes over the river Derwent and are known locally as the house with the giant Monkey Puzzle trees in the front garden.
Our Services
At Ashdale Guest House, we offer a range of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable and relaxing as possible. All of our rooms are en-suite, with tea and coffee making facilities, SMART TV or TV/DVD player, and free Wi-Fi. We also have a dog-friendly room available, subject to prior request. Our guests can enjoy a large variety of choices from our self-service food bar, including cereals, grapefruit, fresh fruit, and yogurt, whilst we cook a hot breakfast of your choice using locally sourced produce.
Our Rooms
We have four beautifully decorated rooms, each with its own unique character and charm. Our Youlgrave room is a spacious ground-floor room with a 5' King Size bed, large TV and DVD player, and en-suite bathroom. Our Castleton room is a large room with a feature fireplace, 5' King Size bed, and an additional single bed. Our Stanage room is our largest room, with a super king-size 6' bed, and a single bed. And our Lumsdale room is a cozy double room with a 4'6'' double bed.
