St George's Pimlico is a family-run bed and breakfast establishment, originally opened in 1960 as Chez Desira. Located in two beautiful 19th-century Georgian buildings, it provides comfortable accommodations at an affordable price. Situated on St Georges Drive in Pimlico, the B&B is within walking distance of Pimlico underground station, Victoria train station, and Victoria Coach station, making it the perfect location for both business and leisure travellers. Please note that we do not have a lift, and the rooms are spread over five floors which are only accessible by stairs. If you are unable to manage stairs, please let us know, and we will do our best to allocate rooms on lower floors. St George's Pimlico operates a strict no-smoking policy.

Overview of the Hotel
This hotel is considered more like a B&B, as guests receive an actual key for their room. The hotel's appearance in the photos does not reflect the reality, as the room on the 4th floor (which is inaccessible by elevator) was small, dated, and lacked modern amenities. The "lobby/sitting room" was described as "ghetto" and featured old, faded leather furniture from the 1980s or 1990s. The hotel's free WiFi was unreliable and difficult to connect to, even with assistance from the staff.
Customer Service
The staff was not helpful and seemed bothered by requests for assistance. The staff failed to provide a working WiFi password, despite repeated requests, and demonstrated poor "bed-side manner" when addressing customer issues.
Location
The hotel is located in a neighborhood far from tourist attractions, offering nothing to do or see nearby. It is close to the train station, but its overall location is not conducive for tourists.
Overall Experience
The reviewer would never stay at this hotel again, either alone or with their husband, and advises others to choose a different hotel. Although the hotel may offer cheaper rates, the lack of benefits and the negative experience make it not worth the cost.
