L'Italiana is a family-run Italian restaurant with two locations in St Albans and Shenley. Our aim is to provide authentic, fresh, and reasonably priced dishes that whet the appetite, feed the soul, and above all, ensure we do this with impeccable service each and every time. Our passion for great food, great service, and great company is still as important today since opening in 2007.
Our Story
We love nothing more than being surrounded by family and friends, enjoying a beautifully well-cooked meal with chatter all around, whilst enjoying an excellent glass of wine. We ensure we use well-sourced ingredients, often bought locally from farmers supplying only the most sought-after British-reared meats, to fresh catch-of-the-day fish and seafood from British coastal waters - always complemented with genuine Italian ingredients. Our chefs take great pride in presenting our varied and ample menu, working closely with our team to ensure continuity and quality.

Our Restaurants
We have two locations, one in St Albans and one in Shenley. Our St Albans restaurant is nestled in the heart of bustling St Albans, near the clock tower, and has been serving multi-award-winning pasta dishes, steaks, and mouth-watering pizzas since 2007. Our Shenley restaurant is located on London Road, in the heart of the village, and offers the same full and exciting menu as our St Albans location. We also have a garden terrace in Shenley, perfect for dining in the sun during the warmer months.
