Our History

Our story began in 1931 when Tom Hughes, Frank Forrest, and David Evans founded the company, trading from Bangor Warf on the River Usk in Newport. Over the years, we have expanded and relocated to our current Head Office in Bolt Street, Newport, which is home to our largest and best kitchen and bathroom showroom in the area. In 1998, we expanded to Blackwood, and later to Ebbw Vale in 2004. Our most recent addition was the opening of our Cardiff branch in 2008.

Our Services

We carry an extensive range of building materials, including bricks, blocks, drainage, timber, water management, roofing, ironmongery, doors, insulation, and landscaping. Our kitchen and bathroom showroom in Newport is a one-stop-shop for all your building needs. We also have a fleet of 12 delivery lorries, ensuring an efficient and reliable delivery service to our customers.
