Our History
Our story began in the early 1900s when Fred Lloyd set up a 'Rag and Bone Round' to support the war effort of WWII. Following this, he detected a gap in the market and established a scrap metal company in 1948. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to meet the changing needs of our customers and the environment. Today, we are proud to be part of the GD Environmental Services Group, a leading waste management company.

Our scrap metal recycling facility is an independent facility that accepts ferrous and non-ferrous metals, offering competitive prices for large quantities. Our skip hire service provides a variety of skip sizes for domestic and commercial requirements, with quick availability and competitive prices. Our waste transfer station is an independent transfer station that accepts all types of non-hazardous commercial waste (except food waste), with collection services available for large quantities. We also offer a depollution service for scrap cars (end of life vehicles), making it easy to dispose of your unwanted vehicle in an environmentally friendly way.
