Jennifer Shaw - Managing Director, Front of House Host
Jennifer, or Jen as she is known to her clients, learnt the ropes early on working at her parents' hotel in Grange-over-Sands, where she met Luke. Jen's friendly and professional front of house team provide a first-class master of ceremonies service, ensuring that your day runs seamlessly from start to finish.
Luke Shaw - Managing Director, Executive Chef
Luke, our Managing Director and Executive Chef, has a wealth of experience working as a chef from a young age. He has worked at some of the top restaurants and hotels in Cumbria, including The Drunken Duck, for Paul Heathcote, and for local Michelin starred chef Simon Rogan. Luke specialises in creating wholesome dishes using locally sourced ingredients from his doorstep in Cumbria.
Our team also includes Nicole, our super organised and friendly wedding co-ordinator, who will help you through the planning process and be your master of ceremonies on your wedding day. Jim, our experienced chef, who joined the team in 2021, and is responsible for providing the highest quality wedding catering. Tom, our general assistant, who has been with us since 2016, and undertakes all job roles, making him an integral part of our team. And Sam, our highly skilled patissier, who loves to create new and exciting desserts for our clients.
