With studios in Penistone and Wakefield, our dedicated and qualified team of professionals can cater for all your child's needs.
Our History
Our journey began in 1954 when our founder, the late Mrs. Betty Chappelle, opened her first dance school in the Liberal Club on Shrewsbury Road. She was granted planning consent to set up the dance school, which remains a centre of excellence to this day. Under the capable direction of Linda Lister and her daughter Sally Mitchell, our Wakefield studio continues to thrive. Our Penistone studio is now run by Shani Mitchell, Betty's daughter.

Our Staff
Our team of fully qualified and experienced teachers has extensive backgrounds in the performing arts. They have performed in West End shows, UK and world tours, commercial pop videos, film, and television. All our teachers hold qualifications with the International Dance Teachers Association.
Our Services
We offer training for all ages and levels in the major subjects of Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Street Jazz, Musical Theatre, Gymnastics, and Teacher Training. While exams are not compulsory, we offer IDTA examinations to help monitor progress and maintain high standards in our classes.
Our Facilities
Our studios are fully equipped with professional dance flooring, mirrors, and sound systems. Our faculties are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our students.
Our Shows
We produce and choreograph professional and amateur shows, including TV, circus, and review productions. Our students have the opportunity to participate in shows, developing their performance and stagecraft skills.
