By employing a contractor registered with a Competent Persons Scheme like ELECSA, the contractor can self-certify that the work adheres to the required standards and has been reported to the local authority. ELECSA approved contractors, such as ourselves, have been independently assessed to ensure that we uphold the highest safety standards.

Upon completion of work affected by Part P, your contractor will notify ELECSA of the job done, and you will receive a building compliance certificate from ELECSA. This certificate indicates that the work has been registered with your Local Authority Building Control, a document that you will likely need to produce in the future.
