We also offer specialist Historic Building Survey reports on Listed Buildings or other period houses, as well as Heritage Assessments, and Single Defect Inspections, such as in respect of damp issues.

Our Expertise

As a Historic Building Consultant and an IHBC Accredited Conservation Surveyor, David Rawlins specializes in Building surveys of period houses, although we also undertake surveys of 20th & 21st Century dwellings. Our expertise extends to Heritage Statements of Significance / Assessments, where pre-planning application heritage assessments are required, and we also provide specialist advice on Historic Buildings and their remedial repair. We aim to ensure the good health of such buildings by studying them in a holistic manner, taking into account the advantages of traditional forms of building.
