This small establishment with just 28 covers is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Craig and Vikki Wood, who are dedicated to providing a truly relaxed dining experience. With 7 steep narrow steps inside the front door, unfortunately, the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, but it certainly adds to the charming character of this hidden gem.
Craig Wood, the Chef Proprietor, has worked in some of the country's most respected kitchens, including Restaurant Martin Wishart, the Royal Scotsman train, and the Crinan Hotel. His hands-on approach and passion for quality food and service are evident in every dish that leaves The Wee Restaurant's kitchen. In 2015, Craig was crowned Chef of the Year at the CIS Excellence Awards, cementing his reputation as one of Scotland's most talented chefs.
Vikki Wood, the other half of this dynamic duo, keeps a watchful eye over the ambience, drinks offerings, and in particular, the popular cocktail list. Her unfussy yet professional service ethos ensures that every guest leaves happy and eager to tell their friends about their new discovery in Fife. Vikki is also a finalist for the prestigious Business Woman Scotland Award, showcasing her entrepreneurial skills and dedication to driving The Wee Restaurant forward.
