Positive Feedback

• A lovely garden centre with a large variety of products for home and garden, including a nice restaurant and clothing and shoes.
• Great choice on all items, friendly staff, and two places to eat.
• Nice garden centre, fun for kids during Christmas time, or fun for adults who like to look at fish and plants.
• Wide range of plants, pots, and garden sundries as well as furniture, BBQ, fishing gear, and aquatics. Two cafes with reasonable food and service.
• Love the place, huge range of items from BBQs to kitchen items, pets, and bird feeding alongside garden tool and plants. Restaurant and coffee shop get very busy over lunch.
• Absolutely love Homeleigh, visit every couple of weeks, have a good restaurant, do a good breakfast, and the Aquatics are brilliant.
• Brilliant garden centre, full of plants, home wear, and Christmas decorations. Has a great cafe, farm shop, and amazing views towards Dartmoor.
• Really good garden centre, condition of all the plants for sale were above average, though that reflects in the price. Has other facilities on site such as a cafe, angling, and furniture plus a small play area.
• First visit, lovely GC, everything there I needed, lovely cafe, nicely laid out plants, and spacious. Definitely becoming a regular, highly recommend.
• Stopped off here in November, did a full English breakfast in their cafe. Glad we did as it was a lovely breakfast. Good menu choices, good quality food, and lots of places to sit. Staff were very friendly too. After breakfast, we had a walk around the garden centre and lots of variety of items to choose from. Would visit again when back in the area.
• Just a light snack and some shopping for Christmas, good selection.

Negative Feedback

• Decided to go for lunch, on arrival was told there would be a 25-minute wait on hot food, in fact it took 25 minutes just to have our order taken and for this reason decided on cake and coffee rather than a hot meal. Cake was fine unfortunately my plate had been liberally drizzled in caramel sauce for presentation, I hate caramel sauce! Coffee was also just warm, all in all not great and won't be going again. On a positive staff were polite and obviously working very hard.
• Purchased a fish tank from them and called up as I was concerned about the way it was delivered as only one man carrying a 4foot tank on his own and ended up having to help him, tank was damp packaging was open also never told me when they were delivering made me late for work, called manager he was extremely abrupt no concerns whatsoever ever in fact wouldn't let me speak, I was not calling to get money back or a discount only to air my concerns for the safety of the driver and to ask why the tank would be damp. Will never shop at Homeleigh again.
• Went to this garden center today with my husband and sisters when we went for a drink in the cafe my sister slipped and fell while walking to her table the floor wasn't wet but very slippy and people there said they nearly fell too and a customer said that is the 3rd person he has seen fall there. Although they had a wet sign up it's the actual flooring that is the problem and dangerous this should be addressed ASAP before someone has a very nasty injury, fortunately even though my sister is in her 70s and has back trouble the thick coat she had on saved her, although it shook her up and hurt her hip and spoiled what before this was a lovely day. We would like to thank the young man who rushed to help her who wasn't a staff member. We won't be coming here again, and to all who go be aware of the floor.
