FIXING FEET FOR OVER 30 YEARS - ACTIVE FEET, ACTIVE BODY, ACTIVE LIFE

The Forge Veterinary Centre, located in the heart of Halstead, has been a cornerstone of veterinary care for companion animals for the past 150 years. With a rich history and a commitment to providing the best possible service, The Forge has evolved into a modern practice dedicated to the care of pets. Led by Nigel Sproule and a team of five experienced vets, the practice aims to deliver the highest standards in veterinary general practice.

Meet Our Team

The Forge Veterinary Centre is proud to have a team of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to ensure the best care for your pets. Our team includes client services representatives and nurses who are often the first point of contact for clients.

Tina Gould's enthusiastic approach to life is infectious and she is always ready to help. When she's not working, Tina enjoys spending time with her cat, Poppy, and dog, Mabel. June Lynn has been a part of the practice for 28 years and is known for her dedication to local football and her grandchildren. Gill Ellis, another long-term member of the team, is a rugby lover and supports Wasps and her nephew's school team. She is busy with her new puppy, Ralph, who keeps her on her toes.

Our nursing team, led by Vicky Haygreen, is both caring and efficient. Vicky has a great knowledge of the practice's day-to-day running and is involved in everything from nursing to Insurance forms and maintaining the website. She has a keen interest in dog behaviour and is a qualified dog obedience trainer. Ali Braby qualified in 1999 and has worked in both mixed animal practices and emergency care. She has a Border Terrier called Mabel and enjoys spending time with her two daughters. Emma Illingsworth has been nursing for over 20 years and has a special interest in rabbit care and taking X-rays. Steph Wright has a keen interest in rabbit care and behaviour and is currently working towards a diploma in Feline Care, Welfare and Behaviour.

Our experienced team of veterinary surgeons includes Nigel Sproule, who has been with the practice for many years. Our newest vets, Zoe and Kitty, have quickly become part of the family and provide excellent care to our patients.
