About Us

Our business is divided into two main areas. The first and most significant part of our operations focuses on private commissions for bespoke furniture. We specialise in manufacturing free-standing furniture, fitted furniture, and small batches of batch-produced furniture. Our team of skilled craftsmen meticulously attend to every detail, ensuring that each piece meets our rigorous standards of quality.

The second, yet still considerable part of our business, involves the conservation and restoration of fine antique furniture. We work with private clients, large country houses, museums, and antique dealers, providing expert repairs and maintenance. With a carefully curated selection of period timbers and brassware, we are able to offer the highest standard of repairs.

In addition, we provide on-site repairs and maintenance for modern furnishings and fixed joinery, including tables, seating, bars, doors, and floors. Our clients include hotels, restaurants, visitor attractions, schools, and sports venues.

• May 2011: The Joshua Tree Fine Furniture was featured in Yorkshire Post, showcasing our unique blend of skills.
• June 2008: We participated in a charity golf day at Sandmoor golf club, North Leeds, raising funds for the youths of the Diocese of Leeds.
• November 2007: After four successful years in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, we moved to larger premises near Malton in N. Yorkshire, enabling us to serve our clients more efficiently.
• November 2006: We completed an order to supply chairs to St Annes Cathedral, Leeds, designed by Richard Williams of 'Buttress, Fuller, Alsop, Williams' Architects in Manchester.
