Our care home, nestled in a peaceful and picturesque location, is professionally managed with staff support always available. We are dedicated to maintaining the personal dignity and independence of our service users, providing care and support tailored to their unique needs. With over 15 years of experience, Staley House has built a reputation for delivering quality care in a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment.
Our home is registered for residential care and provides care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, catering to respite, holiday care, and both long and short stays. We are proud to be regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), ensuring a high standard of care is consistently maintained.

At Staley House, we recognise the individuality of each service user and strive to create a bespoke support package that respects their personal circumstances and lifestyle preferences. Our dedicated and highly trained care staff are committed to delivering personalised care that promotes independence, privacy, and choice.
Medical Care
We work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that the medical needs of our service users are met. Our care home has established links with local GPs, district nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and support. We are also able to accommodate service users with a range of medical conditions and needs, ensuring their care and wellbeing is our top priority.
Our Dedicated Team
Our team is led by the Registered Manager, Mrs. Louise Durber, who brings many years of experience as a senior carer and deputy manager to her role. She is ably assisted by Sharon Hayward and Heather Flitcroft, who are experienced and skilled in managing the home on a day-to-day basis. Our total employed staff stands at 29, with 24 directly involved in care provision. We aim for an 85% ratio of all care staff to have completed NVQ level 2 or above in Health and Social Care.
Housekeeping and Dining
Our Housekeeper is a vital part of our team, responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of our home. They ensure that the environment remains welcoming and comfortable for all of our service users. Our experienced cooks prepare nutritious and delicious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements, ensuring dining at Staley House is a pleasurable experience.
