Tecforce Ltd is a leading independent supplier of engineering services to the Rail Industry, specialising in the development and execution of repair processes for rolling stock vehicle structures and components. With over 20 years of experience, our team of experts has established a reputation for delivering high-quality services that meet the exacting standards of our clients.

Our History

Tecforce evolved out of the Materials Department of what is now Bombardier Transport (Litchurch Lane) Derby through an MBO led by T Forster in 1994. Since then, our business has grown and developed, and in 2012, we were acquired by the MCT Group. This strategic move has enabled us to invest in our people, facilities, and equipment, ensuring that we can provide the highest quality repair and overhaul services to the rail industry.

Our mission is to provide class-leading and assured Weld Engineering services and repair solutions for safety-critical, rolling stock structures and components. We achieve this by employing a highly skilled, motivated, and continually developed team with shared core values. Our vision is to be the unique provider of choice for all structural engineering and welded repair services to the UK passenger rolling stock market.

Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including consultancy and project management, on depot services, and component servicing. Our team of experts has extensive experience in welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), and rolling stock engineering, and we have invested heavily in our facilities and equipment to ensure that we can provide the highest quality services to our clients.
