Our Vision & Aims
At Heathcot Preschool, our mission is to provide a high-quality early years education that is accessible and affordable for all families. We believe that every child is unique and capable of achieving great things, and we are committed to helping them reach their full potential. Our aim is to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment that promotes learning, creativity and social development.
The Famly App
To help us achieve our vision and aims, we use the Famly App, a secure and easy-to-use platform that allows us to communicate with parents and carers, share updates and observations, and manage payments and bookings. The Famly App is a valuable tool that helps us to build strong relationships with families and ensure that children are receiving the best possible care and support.
Our Rooms and Routine
At Heathcot Preschool, we have three spacious rooms that are designed to cater to the different stages of a child's development. Each room has a carefully planned routine that ensures a balance of structured activities and free play, both indoors and outdoors. Our experienced staff are trained to observe and respond to each child's individual needs, interests and abilities, and they use a range of resources and activities to support their learning and development.
SEND & Inclusion
We are committed to promoting inclusion and supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We have a dedicated SENDCo who works closely with our staff, parents and carers, and external professionals to ensure that children with SEND receive the support they need to thrive.
Policies and Procedures
At Heathcot Preschool, we have a comprehensive set of policies and procedures in place that ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all children in our setting. These policies are regularly reviewed and updated to reflect changes in legislation and best practice.
EYFS
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which sets out the statutory requirements for the learning, development and care of young children. Our curriculum is designed to support children's holistic development, and we use the EYFS to plan and assess children's learning and development.
Extra Activities
At Heathcot Preschool, we offer a range of extra activities that are designed to enrich children's learning and development. These activities include music and movement, cooking, gardening, and outdoor exploration. We also have strong links with local schools and community groups, and we arrange visits and trips that provide children with new and exciting experiences.
Our Fees and Funding
We are committed to providing affordable and accessible early years education, and we offer a range of funding options to help families with the cost of childcare. Our fees are competitive, and we offer flexible booking options to suit different family needs. Please visit our Fees and Funding page for more information.
