Situated in the picturesque Nabbs Farm, Rowlands Road, Bury, Lancashire, our farm shop is a spacious, modern yet homely cafe that seats up to 50 people. We also have additional patio seating that offers pleasant views across the farm, where you can often see animals in the field and chickens running around in the summer. With ample parking, easy access for prams and wheelchairs, baby changing facilities, and disabled toilets, Falshaw's Farm Shop is the perfect destination for a family day out. We have plenty of high chairs and a grassed area outside where children can run off some energy after lunch.
The Falshaw Family have farmed here at Nabbs Farm for five generations and over seventy years. We take great pride in producing high-quality milk from our pedigree herd of Holstein Friesians and pedigree Jersey cows. In the 1980s, we started breeding pedigree Suffolk sheep, which are successful in the show ring and produce excellent prime pure and crossbred lambs. We have also formed a successful beef herd, allowing us to supply quality British products direct to you in the form of ice cream made in the shop, good home-cooked food, and fine meat.
Farm Shop
At Falshaw's Farm Shop, we have our own butcher on-site who makes the most delicious sausages and burgers to his own recipes. We use top-quality beef and lamb bred here on our farm, as well as homemade pies and hotpots, cooked meats, cheese, eggs, jam, preserves, and biscuits. We also sell locally sourced seasonal fruit and vegetables, homebred half lambs, and rarebreed pigs for the freezer.
Ice Cream Parlour
Our ice cream is made by us on the premises using milk from our own cows. We have developed around 30 kinds of own recipe ice cream for you to savour. Our ice cream is also available as wholesale to restaurants and cafes.
Cafe
The food served in our Cafe is truly delicious, whether you choose a simple toasted sandwich, an all-day breakfast, or a scrumptious afternoon tea. We also have a delicious array of cakes and fruit pies for you to try with a drink of your choice, from a refreshing cup of tea to a latte coffee or soft drink.
Outside Catering
At Falshaw's Farm Shop, we also provide an outside catering service. So, if you are having a special occasion and want to take the pressure off, we can provide a fantastic spread to your requirements.
Children's Parties
Our Knickerbocker Glory Party is perfect for children. They are provided with tasty sandwiches, a fruit platter, and a drink, before being able to make (& eat) their Knickerbocker Glory.
Ice Cream Bike
Our beautiful ice cream bike, with parasol, is now available to hire for any occasion or event. Can be decorated to your theme.
