Established in 1461, The White Hart has a long and storied history as a vital meeting place in Whitchurch. Situated at the junction of the old London/Exeter and Oxford/Southampton roads, this historic inn has been a frequent stop for travellers, locals, and even notable figures such as Lord Denning and Charles Kingsley. Today, The White Hart is owned by Arkell's Brewery, who has undertaken a complete refurbishment of the property, starting with the bar and lounge areas, while preserving its rich history and character.

Food & Menus: Great Food Served 7-Days-a-Week

Our kitchen is open seven days a week, offering a wide range of dishes to suit every taste. We pride ourselves on our brand-new spring menus, coming soon! Our kitchen times are as follows:

• Monday-Friday: Breakfast - 8-11 am, Food - 12-2:30 pm & 6-8:30 pm
• Saturday: Breakfast - 8-11 am, Food - 12-8:30 pm
• Sunday: Breakfast - 8-11 am, Food - 12-3 pm

Table booking is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Our dining room offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying our freshly prepared meals.

The White Hart's downstairs bar boasts fresh modern features, high ceilings, and plenty of space for relaxing.
