Our journey began over 30 years ago as part of Sotheby's Country House salesroom at Summers Place in Sussex, and since then, we have flourished, establishing a global reputation for excellence.
Our History
Our first sale was held as part of Sotheby's Country House salesroom, and over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to become an independent auction house. Our team, with nearly 200 years of combined experience, has been instrumental in our success. We have had the privilege of handling a wide range of unique and diverse items, from a whole Italianate garden shipped from Massachusetts, USA to a 15-foot high bronze bust of Lenin, liberated from a town square in Latvia.

We hold a minimum of four sales per year, featuring the best examples of Garden sculpture and decoration, as well as Natural History. Our auctions are highly regarded for their quality and diversity, and we have a dedicated team dealing with transport and shipping to ensure that your items are handled with care.

Our Gallery
In 2012, we completed our new 5000 sq ft custom-built gallery, nestled in six acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. The gallery has won several architectural awards and provides the perfect setting for our auctions and exhibitions.
