Our Story
We are a first-opinion small animal practice offering a wide range of affordable services to cover all your pet's needs. Our journey began in 1999 when the Animal Medical Centre on Hillylaid Road in Thornton was brought by local vets Mark and Michelle Lingard and became Moy Vets Thornton. Norcross Vets, originally named Milne and Shine, was owned by Andrew Milne and Garrett Shine. The practice outgrew the building on Blackpool Old Road and they moved into the new purpose-built premises on Norcross Lane. Both practices joined the IVC Evidensia family several years ago and then in November 2023, they both merged to form Moy Vets Norcross and Moy Vets Hambleton with the closure of the site in Thornton. Moy Vets Hambleton was purpose-built to accommodate the growing demand at the previous site in Out Rawcliffe, where Mark and Michelle first opened the Moy Vets doors, supporting the over Wyre community with veterinary care.
