It is with a heavy heart that we announce that after much consideration, we will no longer be hosting events. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the couples who have chosen Minstrel Court as the backdrop for their special day. We wish everyone a joyous Christmas and a prosperous 2023!

Minstrel Court is a beautiful venue located in Royston, Hertfordshire. The venue boasts charming facilities that provide the perfect setting for any event. After speaking to many customers, we discovered that three key factors matter the most when choosing an events venue: facilities, flexibility, and price. At Minstrel Court, we take pride in offering top-notch facilities that can be tailored to meet your specific needs.
Facilities at Minstrel Court
Our facilities include the Regency Barn, a stunning listed building with a gallery and stained glass windows, and the lofty twin-peaked Marquee. For smaller events, we offer the Sky Bar and Long Gallery, which can be configured as dining spaces. The Sky Lounge Bar is a perfect spot for a pre-dinner drink, with a comprehensive range of beers and spirits and extremely competitive prices.
Our sensational Sky Lounge Bar complete with comfortable seating, offers a comprehensive range of beers and spirits with extremely competitive prices. You are welcome to provide your own wine for the meal, and we do make a corkage charge depending on glass provision, washing, bottle disposal, and staff involved in serving.
Flexibility at Minstrel Court
At Minstrel Court, we understand that every event is unique, and we strive to be as flexible as possible. We offer a range of dining options, from traditional three-course roast dinners to giant Paellas and Tapas. Our extensive catering facilities enable us to accommodate any request, and we do not have set menus that you have to use. Unlike most venues, we are happy to work with you to create a customized menu that meets your specific needs.
Our beautiful all-weather Lake Pavilion guarantees an outdoor ceremony at any time of year, or you may prefer the stained glass Meadow Chapel overlooking the Wimpole Meadows. Depending on dining preference, it is also possible to hold the ceremony in the Regency Chapel!
The Long Gallery with our unique light-up Dance Floor adjoins the bar and is a superb space for partying the night away! There is enough space for a Band or a disco (or both!) and on warm evenings, we can open the French Doors to the Patio so guests can dance outside!
At Minstrel Court, we understand that a large percentage of your Big Day takes place in the evening, and our landscaped Gardens offer a great space to relax and enjoy the lake views. As soon as the sun sets, our lake and its surrounds come to life as all the Lanterns and concealed Lighting extend your day into the evening, offering yet more Photo opportunities!
Accommodation at Minstrel Court
Our new en-suite Bridal suite overlooks the main lawn and has a separate dressing area. The Bridal Suite is perfect for the newlyweds to unwind after a long day of celebrations.
Although Minstrel Court will no longer be hosting events, we hope the memories we have helped create will live on in the hearts of all who have visited this beautiful venue.
