At Shreen Vets, we are a family-orientated small business in the centre of Gillingham, providing veterinary services to the surrounding areas. With over 30 years of experience, we have evolved from a traditional mixed animal practice to a dedicated small animal practice. Our veterinary surgeons and facilities are all located at a single site, ensuring excellent continuity of treatment for your beloved pets.

Our Story

Our practice has a rich history, and our name and logo have a unique inspiration. The River Stour, Dorset's longest river, rises in Stourhead and flows for sixty miles before emptying into the western reaches of the Solent. Shreen Water joins the Stour in the centre of Gillingham, just a short distance from our practice, and it is from this tributary that we take our name. As the Stour leaves Gillingham, it is joined by the River Lodden. This combination of the 3 rivers provides the inspiration for our practice logo.

• Fully equipped and modern operating theatre with the latest in anaesthetic equipment and protocols
• Dental equipment with drills, burs, ultrasonic descaler, and polisher
• Comfortable, secure patient accommodation for all sizes, including a separate cat-friendly ward and dedicated isolation facilities
• Brand new laboratory suite, giving us same-day integrated results for blood testing, urine analysis, parasitology, and endoscopy
• ECG and blood pressure monitoring
