Working together - Learning for life

At St Lucia's C of E Primary School and Nursery, we take pride in our commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for our students to thrive. With a rich history and strong community links, we strive to foster a love of learning that will stay with our children throughout their lives. Our dedicated team of teachers and support staff work tirelessly to ensure that every child receives a tailored education that meets their individual needs, and we are proud of our smaller class sizes that allow for personalized attention.

Our Vision and Values

As a Church school, we are guided by our Christian values of love, kindness, and respect for all. We believe that every child is unique and special, and we strive to create an atmosphere of warmth, security, and trust. Our vision is to provide a holistic education that prepares our students for the challenges of the 21st century, while also fostering a sense of community and social responsibility.

Our Facilities and Services

Our beautiful location in the rural village of Upton Magna provides the perfect backdrop for our outdoor activities, including our Forest School program. This innovative approach to learning allows our students to explore and learn in a fresh, natural environment, while also developing their appreciation for the natural world. In addition to our Forest School, we also offer childcare before and after school hours with our Sunrise and Sunset Clubs, providing a convenient and supportive service for our parents.

Our Commitment to Excellence

We are committed to providing a world-class education that meets the highest standards of teaching and learning. Our curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of our students, and we are proud of our excellent academic record. Our students consistently excel in national tests and examinations, and we are committed to continuing to improve and develop our curriculum to meet the changing needs of our students.

Our Community Links

We are proud to be an integral part of the local community, and we work closely with local organizations and businesses to provide opportunities for our students to engage with the wider world. Our Community Links program provides a range of activities and events that bring our students together with local residents, and we are committed to building strong relationships with our community partners.
