Earth Works Garden Design Landscaping Maintenance is a reputable garden design and landscaping company that has been serving clients across the UK since 2001. Our founder, who studied at Capel Manor Horticultural College in Enfield from 1998-2001, has a wealth of experience and qualifications in Amenity Horticultural, Hard Landscaping, and Garden Design. Design

We offer professional garden design services that cater to both small and large-scale projects. Whether you want to redesign your whole garden or just one area, we are happy to come and discuss your requirements and find solutions that won't break the bank. Our design process involves taking into consideration factors such as soil type, sunny and shady areas, the eventual size of plants, and when plants are in flower. This helps us to select and plant the right plants together to produce a scheme that provides interest all year round.

Construction and Landscaping

Our construction and landscaping services include the building of raised beds using treated new softwood or reclaimed or new hardwood, the installation of decks made from wood or composite materials, and the creation of paths, fences, and lawns. Our team of skilled and experienced landscapers pays attention to every detail to ensure that your garden meets your expectations.

Gardens

Over the years, we have worked on various garden projects, ranging from small urban gardens to large rural gardens. Here are some of the gardens we have worked on:

Garden 1

This is a garden in Eakring which we have been developing over a few years. The grounds had very little planting when we started. We have developed different areas, including a 'hot' bed and a woodland border. We have also constructed several raised beds and a 3 bay compost bin in the fruit and vegetable areas.

Garden 2

These Farndon clients wanted to be able to work from home and have a designated area for this. We constructed new fences, made a level area for an office to be installed, a seating area and steps to the upper level of the garden.

Garden 3

The clients wanted an outside dining area to entertain, a place for a small table and chairs to have breakfast and a lawn for children to play on.

Garden 4

The brief for this project was for us to create a seaside/Mediterranean garden. We used new oak for this project because of its durability. We only did the hard landscaping as the clients wanted to plant the area themselves.

Garden 5

My client wanted the unattractive retaining wall hidden so we built in front of the original wall and made it slightly higher to give more room for planting.

Garden 6

This garden in North London was designed to minimise the narrowness. This was achieved by creating a zig zag path which leads the eye through the garden and gives a sense of space.
