Our History
Our firm has a rich history that dates back to 1867, founded by William Forward, who qualified as a solicitor and practiced in Axminster. The firm has undergone several name changes over the years, with Maurice George Milford becoming a partner in 1954 and Peter Dormor joining the firm in 1971, leading to the current title, Milford & Dormor. Throughout the years, our firm has expanded, opening new offices in Chard, Seaton, and Hemyock, and has been led by dedicated partners who have shaped the firm into what it is today.
