At Joeys Nursery, we are committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment for children from 0 to 5 years old. Our nursery is designed to be a "home away from home" where children can feel safe, secure, and valued. We strive to create a motivating environment where enthusiastic staff can help children to discover and learn through fun, engaging, and challenging activities.

Our mission is to provide a friendly, welcoming, happy, and homely environment that is safe and secure, where all children are well cared for by high-quality and qualified staff. We believe in providing good role models to teach children good values, and we strive to create strong relationships with parents/carers. We offer a flexible provision that caters to the individual needs of each child, and we pride ourselves on the warm smile we welcome our children and families with every day.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of each child. Our Koalas room is specifically designed for children aged 0-20 months, where they can explore and learn in a safe and stimulating environment. Our Joeys Jumpers room is perfect for children aged 20 months to 4 years, where they can engage in a variety of play-based learning activities. We also offer Out of School care and Holiday Club for children aged 3-11 years, providing a fun and engaging environment for them to learn and socialise.

Our Approach

At Joeys Nursery, we believe in providing a child-centred approach to learning and development. We operate on the principles of "in the moment" planning, where every opportunity is seen as a teachable moment. Our staff are experienced and friendly, and they work closely with parents/carers to ensure that each child's individual needs are met. We provide a range of activities and experiences that cater to different learning styles, from sand and water play to construction, from small world animals and people to craft and malleable/sensory play.

Meet the Team

Our team is led by our experienced Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead, Katie, and our Deputy Manager and SENDCO, Zoe. Our team of Senior Team Leaders, Senior Practitioners, Practitioners, and Admin staff are all highly qualified and dedicated to providing the best possible care and education for our children.
