Welcome to Waterloo House, a residential care home located in the charming market town of Market Rasen, Lincolnshire. Established for many years, we have built a reputation for providing excellent person-centred care for the elderly, including those with dementia. Our aim is to help our residents maintain their independence and continue to enjoy the activities that make them feel like themselves.

Our Care

At Waterloo House, we understand the importance of finding the right home for your loved one. Our care is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, and our team of experienced carers is committed to delivering the highest standard of care. We offer bespoke care plans, dementia care and support, a choice of delicious and nutritious meals, and a full and varied activities programme.

Our care home is a two-storey house with a purpose-built extension, providing accommodation for 34 residents. It is located less than half a mile from the town centre of Market Rasen, making it easy for residents to access local amenities and maintain connections with their community.

Life at Waterloo House

We strive to make Waterloo House a happy home for all our residents, and our dedicated team goes above and beyond to ensure that our residents feel comfortable and cared for. Our home is designed to be warm and welcoming, with communal areas and private rooms that are well-appointed and comfortable.

Our activities programme is designed to engage and stimulate our residents, promoting physical and mental wellbeing. We celebrate special occasions such as Halloween, Christmas, and the Platinum Jubilee, creating a festive atmosphere and providing opportunities for our residents to socialise and have fun.

Meet Our Carers

At Waterloo House, we recognise that our care staff are our greatest assets. Our team is passionate about meeting the needs of every individual and creating a happy home for all our residents.

Karen Featherstone, our Registered Manager, has been in her role since 2019. She started her career in care 10 years ago and has progressed through the ranks, becoming a deputy manager before taking on her current role. Karen is passionate about caring for the elderly and finds her role as a manager rewarding and fulfilling.

Carol Davison, our Care Manager, has been a member of the Waterloo House team since 1978. She has progressed from carer to Care Manager and is responsible for developing person-centred care plans for all our residents. Carol is committed to ensuring that all aspects of a resident's life at Waterloo House are taken care of, promoting their freedom and independence.
