Poor Quality and Installation Issues

Window Joinery Issues
The casement window was found to be off-centre in the frame, allowing wind and air to seep through the gaps when closed. The draught-proofing strip was not properly glued down, leading to air and wind entering through the gaps and the strip lifting off in places.
Installation Flaws
The window was installed without cleaning the sill, which is unevenly textured and has old vinyl decoration. This can lead to gaps underneath the window frame as the decoration deteriorates. The installer also failed to clean up the area, leaving shattered glass, hazardous materials, and waste strewn about.
