The Lewisham Care Partnership is a new type of General Practice formed on 1st June 2017. It represents the joining of 5 local GP Partnerships delivering Primary Care Services from 5 sites in the centre of Lewisham, SE London.
Our Vision
Our vision is to deliver sustainable general practice services to a population of nearly 60k patients. We aim to improve access to care, increase patient engagement, and achieve better health outcomes for our community.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services including:
- General consultations: Routine check-ups, management of chronic diseases, vaccinations, sick visits, and more.
- Cardiovascular healthcare: Screening, management of heart conditions, and cardiovascular prevention guidance.
- Mental health support: Access to therapists and mental health resources.
- Child health: Routine childhood vaccinations, health checks, and development guidance.
- Travel health: Advice on vaccinations and medications for travel.
- Management of chronic conditions: Diabetes, asthma, heart disease, and other long-term conditions.
- Wound care: Expert treatment and management of wounds and infections.

Patient Experience
In this review, numerous patients share their poor experiences with the Lewisham Care Partnership. Reception Issues are a common theme, with patients facing long wait times, being cut off, and having difficulty getting appointments.
Booking Appointments
Patients have struggled to book appointments, both over the phone and online. The automated service often hangs up on them, and those who manage to get through are frequently told that there are no appointments available.
Front Desk Staff
Many patients have found the reception staff to be unhelpful, disengaged, and even moody. Some have even heard staff gossiping about patients, which is considered a breach of confidentiality.
Doctor Appointments
While individual doctors may be good, the appointment system seems to be broken. Patients report having to wait hours to get an appointment, only to be told that there are no available slots.
Overall Experience
Patience is wearied by the constant need to chase appointments, and some patients have even had to attend multiple times a day to try and get seen. The stress and frustration caused by the surgery's poor management have taken a toll on their well-being.
