Welcome to Tunbridge Wells Glass Works, a family-owned business established in 1949. We are a local business dealing in glass, mirrors, table tops, traditional lead lights, replacement windows and doors, and sealed double glazed units. Our company has grown in size and range of services over the years, but we still retain the old-fashioned ideals of quality and service that have always been so important to our customers.
Our Story
Tunbridge Wells Glass Works was founded by Colin and Stella Hamilton in 1949, and since then, ownership has moved on to the next two generations of the family. Throughout our history, we have endeavoured to maintain a friendly, professional service that gives our customers confidence in our work and hopefully returns them to us. Most of our staff have been with us for years, and so have the necessary skills to carry out work in a range of fields, from restoration work to up-to-date technology.

We offer a wide range of services, including glass and glazing, windows and doors, and commercial glazing. Our glass and glazing services include traditional lead lights, replacement glass, sandblasting, UV bonding, and shelves. Our windows and doors services include UPVC windows, timber alternative vertical sliders, aluminium windows, woodgrain windows, energy-rated windows, secondary glazing, residential doors, timber alternative doors, composite doors, aluminium doors, French doors, patio doors, and bifolding doors.
