Expert and Friendly Advice for a Stress-Free Legal Experience
Nestled in the picturesque Cam valley, the Hope & Anchor Midford is a mere 10-minute drive from the historic city centre of Bath. Alternatively, one can enjoy a leisurely and scenic bicycle ride along the Colliers Way cycle path, which leads directly to the pub's welcoming car park. The Colliers Way cycle path further extends to Radstock for those seeking a more strenuous ride. We take pride in being one of the few independently-owned and managed establishments in Bath, providing a truly authentic English country pub experience.
The Hope and Anchor Midford is now owned by the British-Canadian Bauly Family, who have strong familial ties to Somerset, Suffolk, Bristol, Worle, Weston-Super-Mare, and the Bury St Edmunds area in Suffolk. The family relocated from Toronto to the UK in 2019 and also manages the Wheelwrights Arms Country Inn & Pub in Monkton Combe. Prior to the Bauly family's ownership, the Smolarek family graciously ran the pub for about 30 years. We warmly invite you to explore our diverse menus and book a table through our Reservations page.
