Cardiology referrals
Our specialist cardiology service provides expert diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions in pets. Using advanced ultrasound equipment, we assess heart function and develop tailored treatment plans. The service operates on specific weekdays with direct access for our registered clients.
Pet travel advice
We offer comprehensive guidance for pets travelling abroad, including EU documentation requirements and health certification. Our team provides official veterinary checks and prepares necessary paperwork for international journeys. Advice covers rabies vaccination protocols and tapeworm treatments.
Vaccination programmes
We administer core vaccinations for dogs, cats, and rabbits to prevent serious infectious diseases. Our programmes include initial courses for young animals and regular boosters for adult pets. The service includes tailored advice based on individual lifestyle and travel needs.
Wellness screening
Annual comprehensive health assessments for mature pets identify early signs of conditions like kidney disease and arthritis. The 30-minute examination includes blood tests, physical checks, and preventative care advice. Recommended yearly for cats over 7 and dogs over 5.
Nursing clinics
Our qualified nurses provide specialist care including flea treatments, weight management, and dental hygiene advice. Clinics offer cost-effective solutions for routine pet healthcare needs with flexible appointment times. Services include geriatric assessments and puppy/kitten care guidance.

Questions
What vaccination records do I need for EU pet travel?
From January 2021, UK pets need a valid Animal Health Certificate (AHC) instead of EU passports. Requirements include microchip, rabies vaccination, and tapeworm treatment for specific countries.
Are emergency vet services available outside normal hours?
Emergency care is available through our dedicated emergency number 0114 234 3013. This service operates beyond standard consultation hours for urgent pet healthcare needs.
How often should mature pets have wellness screening?
Annual wellness screening is recommended for cats over 7 years and dogs over 5 years. Giant dog breeds should start screening at 3 years of age.
What payment methods are accepted for veterinary services?
We accept major credit/debit cards and cash payments at both surgery locations. Payment plans may be available for extensive treatments with prior arrangement.
Can I get pet nutrition advice without a full consultation?
Our nursing team provides basic nutrition guidance during clinic visits. Detailed dietary consultations with specific product recommendations require a scheduled appointment with a veterinary surgeon.
