Established in 1965, Gillian's Riding School has been a popular family-run riding school in Enfield, North London, for over five decades. Our school is renowned for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and we pride ourselves on providing a wide range of services catered to people of all ages and abilities.
Lessons and Activities
At Gillian's Riding School, we offer a variety of lessons and activities tailored to meet the needs of our clients. XC Course
Our Cross-Country (XC) course is suitable for riders of all jumping levels, with jumps ranging from 40cm to 90cm. The course is spread across 15 acres, featuring a variety of obstacles and obstacles, making it an exciting and challenging experience for riders. We also offer course hire for riders who wish to bring their own horse or pony.
Pony Days and Half Days
Our Pony Days and Half Days are a unique and fun way for children to learn about horses and ponies. These sessions are designed for children aged 3 and 4 years and up, and are led by our experienced instructors. The activities include horse care, riding, and games. We also offer themed days and treats to make the experience even more enjoyable.
Birthday Parties
At Gillian's Riding School, we offer birthday party packages designed to make your child's special day unforgettable. Choose from a range of activities, including riding lessons, pony grooming, and obstacle courses. Our party packages are tailored to suit children of all ages and abilities.
Fetes
As a popular and well-respected riding school, we are often called upon to provide pony rides and services at local school fetes. We cover Hertfordshire and North London, and are happy to provide a bespoke quote for individual events.
Pony Club
Our Pony Club is an excellent opportunity for children to develop their knowledge and understanding of horses and ponies. The club is open to children of all abilities and focuses on learning about horse care, riding, and safety. Members can work towards badges and achievements, and enjoy the benefits of membership, including insurance cover while riding.
Livery Services
At Gillian's Riding School, we offer a range of livery services, including stabling, grazing, and turn-out. Our facilities are designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your horse or pony.
