Our Broiler Bird Welfare Policy
By 2024, we will require our chicken suppliers to meet certain criteria that demonstrate higher welfare outcomes. These criteria include transition to strains of birds that meet the criteria of the RSPCA Broiler Breed Welfare Assessment Protocol or Global Animal Partnership (GAP), reduction of stocking density, provision of enriched environments, and compliance with processing standards.
