Vita Architecture

Vita Architecture is an innovative and progressive practice based in London and Surrey, with a wealth of experience in delivering high-quality, bespoke architecture. Our journey began in a small office room in Surrey in 2016, and since then we have grown into a team of passionate architects who care deeply about our clients and the spaces we create.

We are a creative and mathematical practice, combining our skills to produce designs that are distinctive, carefully considered, and crafted with the utmost attention to detail. We believe that architecture should be an opportunity to experience the world in a unique way, and we strive to exceed our clients' expectations with every project we undertake.

Our founder, Ben Lee, has a passion for beautiful design and a commercial mindset that ensures we deliver on our promises. With wide-ranging experience at award-winning practices across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, Ben has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Vita Architecture. He is also a trustee at the Dorking Society and runs the Community, Conservation, and Planning group, allowing him to stay connected to the community and contribute to the development of the area.

Our other principal, Ruta Benetyte, is a creatively intrepid architect with a confident and empathetic personality. She is consistently looking to challenge boundaries and ensure that each project is delivered with a sense of personality, story, and craft. Ruta is naturally curious and inquisitive, and her two chihuahuas, Kochi and Leia, share her character traits. With experience in Lithuania, Russia, Turkey, and London, Ruta has a versatile approach that enables her to bring a sense of wonder to every project.

Our services include:

• Bespoke Clinic Fit Outs: We have experience in creating bespoke clinic fit outs that are unique, minimalist, and designed to meet the needs of high-end clientele. Our projects include a clinic in Central Mauritius and Houston, Texas.
• Private House Extensions: We have designed bespoke private gym houses that provide a functional and beautiful space for clients to exercise and unwind.
• Dental Sector Projects: We have completed a collection of recent projects within the dental sector, including a basement proposal in Buckhurst Hill.
• Residential Developments: We have designed and delivered a range of residential developments, from a 4-storey private residence in Singapore cast with pigmented concrete to a 9-unit red brick and flint clad residential development in Whyteleafe Hill.
• Retirement Gifts: We have designed a space for a loving husband to gift to his wife as a retirement gift, creating a beautiful and relaxing space for them to enjoy their garden and watch the world go by.
• Luxury Family Homes: We have transformed an old 1870s billiard hall into a luxury family home for clients to enjoy.
• Community-led Projects: We have worked on community-built reception fit-outs for community-led charities, ensuring that each project is delivered with a sense of personality, story, and craft.
• Yoga Houses: We have designed a prefabricated yoga house on a clifftop crafted from rammed earth, timber, and cork.
• Herbal Tea Production: We have created a distillation of the process of herbal tea production, the Latvian wilderness, and traditional rural Latvian building typologies.
