Moreteyne Manor is a family-run restaurant and wedding venue, nestled in the picturesque countryside of Bedfordshire, near Milton Keynes. With over twenty years of experience, husband and wife team Mark and Jacqui Hickman welcome you to one of the finest wedding venues in Bedfordshire.
Our Story
The history of Moreteyne Manor dates back to the 16th century, with the Manor House being occupied by the Lord of the Manor, Thomas Snagge. Over the years, the property has been passed down through generations, with the Snagges, Reynes, and Decon families all playing a part in its rich history. In 1985, the Manor was converted into one of the finest restaurants and wedding reception venues in Bedfordshire, and in 1996, Chef Mark Hickman and his wife Jacqui acquired and re-opened the restaurant.
Our Services

Our beautiful grounds and 16th-century moated Tudor manor house provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony and reception. We have two private suites, accommodating 18 to 60 guests respectively, and a stunning marquee for larger weddings. Our team will guide you through the entire process, from your first viewing to the end of your special day, to ensure that every detail is taken care of.
Our restaurant serves the finest cuisine, using only the freshest ingredients and locally sourced produce. We offer a range of menus to suit your taste and budget, and our team of experienced chefs will work with you to create a bespoke menu for your special day.
