We believe that children thrive in an environment that is warm, welcoming, and stimulating, and we strive to create a safe and secure space for children to explore, learn, and play.
Our Facilities
Our nursery is a spacious and well-planned environment that is designed to meet the needs of children aged 0-5 years. We have three separate rooms, each catering to a different age group: the baby room for children aged 0-2 years, the toddler room for children aged 2-3 years, and the pre-school room for children aged 3-5 years. We also have a large outdoor play area and a nearby nature walk, providing ample opportunities for children to explore and learn about the world around them.
Our Staff
Our team of experienced and qualified staff are committed to providing a high-quality service to children and their families. We are a team of dedicated early years professionals who are passionate about childcare and are committed to providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. We believe that communication is key to a successful partnership with our families, and we strive to build strong relationships with our families to ensure that we are meeting their needs and aspirations.
Our Curriculum
Our nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, which is designed to inspire and challenge children to learn and grow. Our curriculum is centered around the seven areas of learning, which includes communication and language, problem-solving, physical development, and more. We believe that children learn best through play, and we provide a range of activities and experiences to stimulate their learning and development.
Our Menu
We take pride in providing a fresh, balanced, and nutritious menu for our children. Our on-site chef, Heidi, prepares all meals and snacks freshly each day using locally sourced ingredients from Thompson's Butchers and LB Quality Grocers. We cater for children with allergies and intolerances and are committed to providing a menu that meets the dietary requirements of all children.
Our Charges
We charge 6.65 per hour or 63.00 per day for our early years children (until children go to school). Our prices are inclusive of all food and drink, nappies and wipes, as well as any outings and activities that may include your child. We invoice monthly in advance, due the last working day of each month.
Additional Benefits
We offer a range of additional benefits to our families, including funded hours for eligible working families, 15 hours of childcare for 3-year-olds, and 30 hours of childcare for 2-year-olds. We are also registered with the Government's Tax-Free Childcare System, which provides an additional 2.00 for every 8.00 you pay into the account, saving parents up to 2000 per child, per year.
Our Progress
We were last inspected by Ofsted in October 2022 and received a 'Good' judgement in all areas. We are proud of our achievements and are committed to continuing to provide a high-quality service to our children and families.
