Our Story

Bedale Day Nursery was founded in 1998 by Maxine Birkbeck, who has a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Early Years Education. With over 30 years of experience in childcare, Maxine has a deep understanding of what is required to provide the highest level of care and education for children. Our nursery has since expanded under the leadership of our dedicated team, including Tracy Stockdale, our Nursery Manager, and Tracy Hearne, our Nursery Manager. Together, we share a commitment to providing a safe, stimulating and secure environment for children to learn and grow.

Our Services

At Bedale Day Nursery, we provide a range of services to support the needs of our children and their families. Our services include:

• Baby Room: Our newly refurbished baby room is designed to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our youngest children. Our highly qualified and experienced staff provide individualised care and attention to help our youngest children develop their social, emotional, and physical skills.

• Toddler Room: Our toddler room is fully equipped with age-appropriate resources and activities to support the learning and development of our toddlers. Our experienced staff work closely with parents to ensure that we meet the individual needs of each child.

• Pre-School Room: Our pre-school room is designed to provide a stimulating and engaging environment for our older children. Our experienced staff use a variety of activities and resources to support the learning and development of our children.

• After-School Club: Our after-school club provides a safe and relaxing environment for children to unwind after school. Our experienced staff provide a range of activities and resources to support the learning and development of our children.

• Kitchen and Reception: Our kitchen is headed by our experienced cook, Sandra, who provides nutritious and delicious meals for our children. Our reception area is welcoming and relaxing, providing a comfortable space for parents to wait and communicate with our staff.

• Outside Area: Our large outdoor play area provides a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop. Our outdoor play equipment is designed to support the physical and cognitive development of our children.
