Come for the night, stay for the memories
Our Vision & Mission
The Bomb Factory Art Foundation stands as a vibrant hub for contemporary art and artistic exploration in London. Founded in 2015 by artist Pallas Citroen, our mission is to foster a thriving artistic community and nurture creative expression across genres. We believe in the power of art to enrich lives, challenge perspectives, and inspire positive change in society.
Our Journey
Inspired by the resilience and creative spirit embodied by its historical origins as a munitions factory during World War II, The Bomb Factory takes its name from its unique heritage. From our humble beginnings in Archway, North London, we have expanded to five vibrant locations across the city, providing a platform for over 120 artists.
Supporting Artists & Audiences
We support artists at various stages of their careers, offering:
- Affordable studio and exhibition spaces

- Access to industry professionals
Our commitment to inclusivity extends to our audiences. We host a diverse range of events, workshops, and exhibitions that cater to all ages and interests. We believe art should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background or socioeconomic status.

Art Galleries and Exhibitions
The reviews discussed various art exhibitions and galleries, with mixed opinions about the hospitality and ambience. While some reviewers praised the space, others found the hosting style unusual.
Unconventional Hospitality
Onyeka Online gave the exhibition 4 stars, but mentioned that the hospitality was a little odd. The host was absent, and instead, left a note with a number to dial to access the unattended venue and view the art pieces unescorted. This unconventional approach might have caused some confusion or unease among visitors.
Fascinating and Haunting Installations
Penelope Elphinstone gave the exhibition 5 stars, praising Polly Morgan's haunting installations that were fascinating yet revolting, evoking a sense of confinement. This reviewer seemed to appreciate the artist's unique perspective.
Short Films and Successful Accomplishments
Marilyn Bakht gave 5 stars, congratulating the team on their achievement in making short films. This review focuses on the success of the team's efforts, rather than the exhibition itself.
Welcoming Artists and Knowledgeable Curators
Reviews by Tim Stocks, Cliff Green, and Stephan Roussounis all gave 5 stars, praising the artists and curators for their welcoming nature, informative presentations, and knowledge. These reviews highlight the positive experience of interacting with the artists and curators.
