Our Story
At Sunrise Day Nursery, we are proud to be a friendly and attentive independent day nursery, dedicated to providing high-quality childcare and pre-school services. Our nursery is conveniently located on Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield, within easy reach of Boldmere, Wylde Green, Streetly, Erdington, and Kingstanding. We provide a wide range of care and facilities for children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years old.

Our mission is to provide a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. We believe in building strong relationships with our children, parents, and staff, and we strive to create a sense of community and inclusivity within our nursery.
Our Team
Our team of highly qualified and dedicated staff are dedicated to the welfare of the children entrusted to our care. We have a well-established team, with a great deal of experience in childcare and education. Our staff hold various qualifications in childcare, including Early Years qualifications at level 3 or higher, and are all trained in first aid and safeguarding.
Our Facilities
Our nursery is designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. We have three separate rooms, each tailored to meet the specific needs of our children, from 0-5 years old. Our rooms are designed to allow for free-flow play, with a wide range of activities and resources available to support learning and development.
Our baby room, "Snowies", provides a calm and relaxing environment, with a quiet sensory sleep area and a directly accessible kitchen. Our toddler room, "Rainbows", is a spacious and safe play area, with a wide range of activities to encourage development in all areas. Our pre-school room, "Shooting stars", is an ideal learning environment for children before they start school, with two interactive whiteboards and access to award-winning software.
We also have a wonderful garden, which is safe and secure, providing an ideal outdoor learning environment. Our garden includes planting beds with herbs, an artificial grass area, a balancing area, and a wide range of building activities and natural resources.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support the needs of our children and their families. These include:
- A login system, allowing parents to follow their child's care through our secure webcams.
- A monthly newsletter, giving updates on nursery activities and events.
- Regular "Stay and Play" days, where parents can join their children in the nursery.
- Photography services, providing parents with high-quality photographs of their children.
- Additional services, such as Pipsqueak Party, for extra special arts & craft days.
We are open from Monday to Friday, 7.30 am to 6.00 pm, and are closed on bank holidays.
