The Golf Course: A Scottish Masterpiece by James Braid
Established in 1936, our 18-hole parkland course is an outstanding Scottish golf course designed by James Braid. It boasts breathtaking views of the Conic Hill, the Highlands, and Luss Hills. The gently undulating fairways, strategic bunkering, and picturesque water hazards make it an intriguing challenge for golfers of all levels. With the River Endrick always present and the tall framing trees along its course, Buchanan Castle showcases the very best of traditional Scottish golf design.
The Course, Hole by Hole
Each hole at Buchanan Castle Golf Club has its unique character, offering a diverse mix of long and short holes that demand creative shot-making and precise execution. Notably, the 1st hole, playing 395 yards, and the 9th hole, at 387 yards, are beautiful opening and closing holes. Both share a similar dog-leg design, inviting golfers to play a strategic approach and shape their shots around the course's many hazards.

- Free Junior membership with each ordinary membership in the 30+ and 25-29 age groups
- Get Into Golf Membership - 150 per year (includes equipment rental, access to the 5-hole academy course, and three one-to-one lessons with PGA Professionals)
