Pet Shop and Grooming Parlour
Our pet shop offers an extensive range of high-quality food, treats, toys, and accessories for all of your pets. Our grooming parlour is equipped to provide a personalized grooming service for your dog, with a consultation prior to your appointment to ensure that your dog receives the ultimate pampering session.
Grooming Services
At House of Pets, we offer an extensive list of grooming services that cater to your individual needs. Our groomers are trained to handle dogs of all breeds and sizes, and we take pride in providing a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for your pet. We offer a range of services, including:
- Puppy Welcome Groom: Our introductory grooming package for puppies, which includes a welcome bath, blow-dry, and light clipping around the eyes, face, pads, sanitary area, nail package, ear cleaning, and perfume spritz.
- Full Groom: Our most popular package, which includes a bath, blow-dry, and full grooming services tailored to your specific needs.
- Wash & Tidy: A quick grooming session that includes a slight trim around the facial, paws, and sanitary area, as well as nail package, ear cleaning, and perfume spritz.
- Handstrip: A service designed for longer-haired or wire-coated breeds that require their coats to be fully stripped.
Other Services

- Dog Nail trimming and filling
- Ear cleaning and plucking
- Anal gland expression

Appointment Information and Booking
All grooming appointments can be made by contacting us here or by contacting the pet store on 020 8986 7681 during business hours. We encourage you to arrive 5 minutes prior to your grooming appointment and we will contact you 15 minutes before your dog is ready to collect. Please note that we are unable to hold your dog for longer than 30 minutes after your appointment. If you are late for your appointment, you may incur a lateness charge. If you are late to collect your dog, you may also incur a late collection charge.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or miss your appointment, the full amount will be charged and no further bookings can be made. We appreciate that things can come up, but as a small business, we still need to pay our staff for the appointments.
Deposit Policy
For new clients, we require a 25 non-refundable deposit to hold your appointment. This deposit will be taken off your grooming account when you come in to pay. We will send you a link via text or email to settle the deposit on the day of your appointment.
Disclaimer
Please note that we have two groomers. If you have a preference, please make us aware at the time of booking. Our grooming parlour is a separate business from our pet store, and we may take photos of your pet to share on our wall or social media.
