Our Services
At Kensington Hounds, we specialise in group walks, tailored to fit your busy city lifestyle. Our expertly trained walkers ensure that your furry friend stays exercised, socialised, and well-behaved. We believe that socialisation is crucial, especially for puppies, which is why we offer group walks in beautiful Royal Parks like Kensington Gardens.
Our group walks are designed to provide a fun and safe environment for your dog to exercise and develop essential social skills. Our walkers have undergone rigorous training in canine behaviour and body language to guarantee exceptional standards of behaviour. Each group walk is 1 hour long, with no more than four dogs per walker, ensuring personal attention and care.
For regular arrangements, we charge 22.50 per walk, including VAT. However, we understand that every pup is unique, and we encourage you to get in touch to discuss your pet's specific needs.
Puppies
New puppies are a joy to behold! At Kensington Hounds, we strongly believe that puppies must be well-socialised as soon as they are vaccinated and ready to venture out. We offer expert guidance on raising a happy, well-rounded dog. Our experienced trainers will help you navigate the important early stages of your puppy's life, ensuring they grow into a well-behaved and well-adjusted furry friend.
Training & Behaviour
Our training services are designed to strengthen the bond between you and your pet. Our ethical, force-free approach focuses on scientific research and proven techniques. Our trainers are certified members of reputable organisations, and we are committed to continuing professional development to ensure the latest knowledge and best practices.
We offer one-to-one training sessions covering recall, loose-lead walking, settle work, and puppy toilet training, to name a few. Our trainers have a range of qualifications from accredited providers, and we are part of the UK Dog Training and Behaviour Charter.
Full Days & Overnight Stays
We understand that some dogs require more extensive care, whether it's a full day of exercise or an overnight stay. We don't offer daycare services, believing that after an intense walk or training session, dogs need rest. Instead, we can offer flexible arrangements, such as split walks or short day trips, tailored to your dog's needs.
Health & Safety
At Kensington Hounds, we prioritise your dog's health and safety above all else. We believe in the importance of comfortable harnesses, longlines, and gentle training methods to ensure your pet's well-being.
Bookings & Payments
We strive for improvement in our services, and to achieve this, we have developed a streamlined booking and billing system. Our custom-built app, available on both iOS and Android, allows for easy bookings, cancellations, and billing. Fun Fridays
From Monday to Thursday, we offer regular group walks in London's Royal Parks. Sometimes, city dogs need a break from the urban jungle, so we're excited to introduce our Fun Fridays! From July 2020, we'll be taking our furry friends on day trips to the beautiful Surrey Hills, New Forest, and more. These trips will be dog-friendly, safe, and fun, with priority given to regular clients. Please note that some routes may not be suitable for young puppies due to distance and safety considerations.
