Nestled in the picturesque village of Bingfield near Hexham, Northumberland, our Norwegian-inspired traditional timber hytte with a grass roof is the perfect venue for families and friends to gather and unwind. This spacious and unique holiday cottage boasts a luxurious sauna and hot-tub spa, making it the ideal destination for those seeking tranquility and comfort.

As you browse through our website, you will discover the distinctive character of The Hytte, featuring an expansive open-plan living area with soaring vaulted ceilings, wooden floors, and a magnificent Norwegian log burner. Our living area, complete with a Smart TV, DVD player, radio, CD player, and X Box games console, provides the perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment. The generously sized dining area seats eight comfortably, and a high chair is available upon request. An array of books and board games are also provided for your enjoyment.
Step outside through the patio doors, and you will find an extensive private garden and a decked verandah, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the breathtaking Bingfield sunset. From the comfort of an electric rise and recline armchair, you can take in the beautiful scenery and unwind in style.
The Hytte boasts four bedrooms that can accommodate up to eight guests. Two of our rooms have standard twin beds, and the third bedroom features electric beds that can be combined to form a King-sized bed. The fourth bedroom offers twin electric profiling beds with a TV and DVD player for added convenience.
Our shower room is fully accessible, featuring a level entry shower, shower chair, toilet, and washbasin, while the separate family bathroom is equipped with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin.
