Let's create a website that tells your story
As a community, we are proud to be part of the Roman Catholic tradition, founded on the principles of love, kindness, and respect. Our mission is that every child, regardless of their background, culture, or ability, can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a positive, safe, and happy environment. Our motto, "The St. Joseph's Way", encapsulates our values and ethos, which are rooted in the teachings of Jesus and the spirit of Christian charity.
Our Services
At St. Joseph's Rotherhithe Primary School, we strive to provide a comprehensive education that caters to the needs of all our students. Our curriculum is designed to challenge our students academically while fostering creativity, cooperation, and emotional intelligence. We understand that every child learns differently, and we strive to identify and support individual learning needs through our Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision.
Our teaching staff is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment that encourages independence, self-motivation, and resilience. We believe that every child has the potential to excel and achieve their goals, and we work tirelessly to help them reach their full potential.
Academic Excellence
Our academic curriculum is designed to be engaging, interactive, and challenging, with a focus on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Our students have the opportunity to explore a range of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, history, geography, and art, among others.
Community and Extra-Curricular Activities
At St. Joseph's Rotherhithe Primary School, we understand the importance of community and social development. We offer a range of extracurricular activities and clubs, such as sports, music, and art, which help our students develop new skills, make friends, and build lasting memories. Our commitment to community extends beyond the school gates, as we engage with local organizations and charities to promote social responsibility and service to others.
Support and Guidance
We recognize that every child has unique needs and concerns, and we strive to provide a supportive and caring environment that acknowledges and addresses these needs. Our pastoral care team is dedicated to providing guidance and support to our students, helping them navigate challenges and build resilience.
Parents and Families
We value the active participation of parents and families in our school community and recognize the importance of collaboration and communication. We provide regular updates and opportunities for feedback through our parent-teacher association, as well as parental involvement initiatives that promote engagement and understanding between home and school.
