Our History
Originally built by the Duke of Devonshire in 1842, as part of the Chatsworth Estate, our beautiful Country House retains many original features and has been lovingly restored to a luxurious standard. We have even been featured in Countryfile Magazine as their recommended place to stay in the Peak District! Nestled in the heart of the Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, we are the perfect base for exploring this stunning area, with dozens of beautiful walks, cycling trails, and nearby attractions such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, and Alton Towers.
