Modern Medicine. Traditional Values.

At Tweed House Veterinary Surgery, we are a family-run, independent veterinary practice dedicated to providing comprehensive small animal veterinary care to the communities of North-West Leeds and the surrounding areas. Our mission is to serve the community through education of pet owners, the general public, and our employees alike. We charge a fair price for the care we provide, which enables us to continuously improve through reinvestment in new services, technologies, and employee education.

Our History

Tweed House in Yeadon was established in 1983 by Gil Averis. In 1991, she opened a second branch in Pudsey. In 1999, the Yeadon branch was expanded, and extensive alterations were carried out to provide excellent facilities for our patients and veterinary staff. Today, we have a branch surgery in Pudsey, which began as a small satellite surgery in 1991 and has expanded into a busy surgery backed by our full hospitalization and surgery facilities based in Yeadon. In August 2011, Tweed House was taken over by Katie and Andrew Price, who aim to continue the high standard of veterinary care that has always been provided by Tweed House.
